Beautifully Antique framed Original Oil on Canvas by Julian Ritter "Clowns"  $100.00 Check with C&W for postage     

This is an original oil painting on canvas. It is an 8x10 oil painting matted with velvet with a gorgeous antique frame.
The frame and oil painting measure 15" wide by 17" high.  The frame alone is worth a LOT.
Julian Ritter was born in Hamburg Germany in 1909 and immigrated to the U.S. in 1924. He painted all of his life, and painted as the Old Masters painted, with glazes, mastering the art. He died in Maui, HI in 2000 but hundreds of his works of art live on. This painting was donated by a very special supporter of Rustic Hollow Shelter, Nancy Meeker, who passed away a year ago. She will always be remembered AND very much missed. He purchased the two clown paintings featured here when she lived in California and Ritter also lived in California for several years.
His paintings are rich and depict clowns, nudes and landscapes in very beautiful artistic fashion.
Proceeds from the sale of these two original oils go to help kits like Bootsie at Rustic Hollow. Bootsie is in rehab and therapy in Des Moines, Iowa for a spinal trauma which caused him to lose some use of both rear legs.
